很多政府机构面向民众使用的文件在视觉与技术上均已过时，且它们往往由缺乏设计背景的人制作。美国伊利诺伊州库克县巡回法院的陪审通知书即典型案例。该陪审通知书再设计课题旨在优化版面逻辑，通过更佳的字体、提升可辩性与可读性让表格更易于查阅、理解、填写。

Many existing forms used by government agencies for their constituents are visually and technologically outdated, and were often designed by people who do not have a design background. The Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois jury service summons form is such an example. This Jury Service Summon Re-design assignment focuses on removing redundancies and making it easier to navigate, understand, and fill out with better font choices, legiblility, and readability.
