该信息视觉化项目将2003年发生于美国中西部、东北部并蔓延至加拿大安大略省的大规模停电事件可视化。基于对事件调查分析报告的理解，信息图表通过还原故事线、事故原委、统计数据构建了直观紧凑的叙事结构。

This envisioning information project visualizes the occurrence of the widespread electricity outage starting from Midwest to Northeast, the United States and Ontario, Canada in 2003. Based on the comprehension of the final report, the inforgraphic builds up a straight-forward and coherent narrative architecture via representing the original storyline, potential reasons, and statistical data.

i. 设计策略/Design Strategy

大画幅背景地图具有更强的沉浸感，因此将相关信息映射在背景地图上可以更直观地检视事件关键点与地理位置间的联系。
Full-size map creates better immersive visual. Therefore, mapping key information onto the background map helps build a better geographic sense of the storyline.

ii. 信息乐高/Information LEGO

2.5D插画能够使信息群组看起来更加真实易懂且更具吸引力。不同主题的组件均被设计为模块化图标，这样它们就能够像乐高积木一样进行组合来实现信息视觉化。
Axonometric illustration makes data clusters realistic, easy to understand, and appealing. In this way. different components are just like LEGO bricks so that they could be effectively and efficiently comfigured in order to envision information and data.

iii. 数据图表/Diagram

图表在忠于数据的前提下同样可以兼具多样性与美观。历经探索与试验，不同主题的数据最终应用了不同的数据视觉化方法。
Diagram can be not only accurate but also attractive. After exploring and experimenting, all themed data clusters are assigned with most appropriate visual approaches.
